Sai Kung International Pre-school (known as 'SKIP') caters for a diverse range of children from around the world who are aged between 1 and 5 years. Located nearby the Hong Kong Marina on Che Keng Tuk Road and surrounded by lush greenery, our newly renovated premises offer children a chance to play and learn in an open and environmentally friendly space. Our classes are divided into kindergarten and playgroups and are all taught by qualified and experienced teachers and play-leaders.

KINDERGARTEN

Our kindergarten classes have a fantastic child to adult ratio with two registered teachers and two ‘duty’ parents present at every session. Our philosophy is based on learning through play. The aim of the younger class is to offer children their first experience of school and to encourage separation from parents for a short time. With progression into the older class the curriculum becomes more structured, preparing the children for entry into primary school.

Geckoes (K2)

For children aged 3.8 to 5 years
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 12noon

Crickets (K1)

For children aged 2.8 to 4 years
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 1.30pm to 4.00pm

PLAYGROUP

For children aged 9 months to 3 years of age. In these sessions children can have lots of fun in a safe and friendly environment where they find their feet and begin to interact with their peers for the first time. Relaxed and friendly, the sessions are run by an experienced play leader and include free play, arts and crafts, lots of indoor and outdoor toys, and a circle time with stories, singing and dancing.

Parent & Toddler

(Children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 2.00pm to 3.30pm

Paint & Play

(Children need to be accompanied by an adult; it may be a parent or other carer)
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 3.45pm to 5.15pm
